The Ok Army National Guard 279th Infantry has deployed 169 Soldiers to Africa. This has left some of the families with some hardships. The 279th Family Services, Combat Vets 10-2, and Eagle Ops are partnering together to help them out. We are asking everyone to come out to the Broken Arrow Armory on August 5th and bring some school supplies. We have provided a list below of school supply choices to look at. 100% of money or supplies donated will go directly to the 279th family support services.
You can buy a pack of school supplies for any grade, but elementary is the highest priority. If you cannot make the event on the 5th, you can drop your donation of supplies, starting July 1st, at the following locations:
